This course will be taught in an interactive manner, using lessons learnt, practical examples, case studies, and shared participant experiences. The course will be presented in both Afrikaans & English.

The course takes the participant on a journey of 11 stages to farming success. A step-by-step approach is followed, with exercises at the end of each section or stage of the journey to farming success. After completing this journey to farming success, the participant will know the purpose of the farming business and understand the broader picture of the agricultural system, namely how the different pieces of the agricultural jigsaw fit together. The approach followed in this book will therefore help to increase the management capacity of farmers and management teams, to develop their creative and entrepreneurial skills, and to improve their skills with holistic thinking. Each exercise is planned in such a way that it assists the reader to develop a strategic plan as he/she progresses through the course.The course is presented in both Afrikaans and English. Additional exercise material is provided in both Afrikaans and English. An attendance certificate is obtained after completion of the course.
